Billie Caroline Flud-Mozingo was a pupil of the  Cortot Lineage, a line of pianists starting with Chopin.

She studied piano performance with
Dana Harris Dixon, who was a
Fulbright Scholar and a pupil of the
renowned Yvonne Lefebure, one of the premier and most celebrated
French pianists and teachers of the 20th century.  Lefebure was a teacher at the
Paris Conservatory, and a pupil of the Swiss born French pianist Alfred Cortot.

Alfred Cortot was also a teacher at the Paris Conservatory and a distinctive
figure in the pianistic pantheon.  His teacher was a student of Frederic Chopin.

As a prolific recording artist and controversial virtuoso, Alfred Cortot
changed the face of Romantic pianism.

Mrs. Flud-Mozingo is a special lecturer, teacher and performer

of the French Piano School.  Including Debussy, Chopin,

Ravel and Georges Auric, among others. Her repertoire also includes works by

Beethoven, Mozart, Schumann, Rachmaninoff, Scarlatti, Schubert, Brahms

and Bach.  Her teacher, Dana Dixon was also a pupil of Rosina Lhevinne

at the Julliard School of Music, making Billie Caroline the eighth in a line of

pianists who scroll directly back to Beethoven and Czerny.

Piano Performance, Billie Caroline Mozingo studied for 4 years with Dana Dixon
